Terms and Conditions
Introduction
PlackPay is a digital invoicing management system that allows users to create, send, and monitor invoice payments.
PlackPay does not directly process payments. We provide secure invoice generation, payment status tracking, and scheduled settlement services for our merchants.
By using PlackPay’s services, you (“the Merchant”) agree to the following terms:
1. Service Scope
PlackPay allows you to generate and send invoices to your clients.
You can track the payment status of your invoices via PlackPay.
PlackPay facilitates payment settlement to you every Tuesday and Thursday based on cleared transactions.
2. Eligibility
You must be a legally registered entity or individual in your operating jurisdiction.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date business and banking information.
3. Invoicing and Payment
Merchants generate invoices through the system.
Clients receive the invoice and make payment via their preferred methods.
PlackPay only records the status of the payment. Funds are settled to the merchant during the next scheduled payout cycle.
4. Merchant Obligations
Maintain confidentiality and security of invoice records.
Ensure that clients are aware of your products, refund policy, and delivery terms.
Avoid misuse or fraud within the platform.
5. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:
— Chargebacks exceed 0.75% of your monthly transaction volume.
— Fraudulent activities are suspected.
— Misuse or misrepresentation of PlackPay occurs.
6. Limitation of Liability
PlackPay does not hold, process, or transfer funds.
We are not liable for failed payments, disputes between you and your clients, or third-party processor failures.

It is the responsibility of the cardholder to ensure that the use of PlackPay services complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. PlackPay operates under the laws of the Republic of Kenya, but other jurisdictions may impose different legal and financial obligations.
